Playing on the Utah Jazz Home court!!!

Everyone at Bryan's work had the opportunity to go and play basketball at the Energy Solutions Arena!!! They let all the little kids come early and play and then the big boys got to play for a few hours. It was really really neat. I have never been down on that floor and looking up you realize just how big that place really is. Parker thought it was so cool to play basketball on the Utah Jazz home court. He also got a Utah Jazz bag, Tattoos and Frisbee. He was in Heaven. Maelie just liked to run and play and climb up the bleachers. But I think the most excited of us all was Bryan!!! Boy was he so excited to go and play with the guys from work. The whole week leading up to this day they were trash talking each other and just ready for a good game on a pro court!!! Of course Bryan got pushed the first game and had a huge bruises on his knees and elbows, but he thought it was cool because he not only played on the court, he got hurt on the court too. He continued to play the rest of the time, but when he got home he had a hard time walking and he had a knee that was swollen. But like I said he was proud!!! It was an awesome experience and we are so thankful that Bryan works for such a great company!!!

Family fun at the zoo

Bryan and I decided to take the kids to the Zoo on presidents day. It was a little rainy and cold, but kids loved it and most of the animals were out and about, plus it wasn't very busy because of the rain. Towards the end we were cold and ready to leave but we still have a good time. We love spending time together.

Touched by a strong little boy!!!

I usually don't do post where I express my feelings (mostly because I am not good with words). I usually just blog on what has been happening with my family, but today I feel that I need to share my thoughts. Things have been crazy around here lately and I have been a little stresses out. Little things have been driving me crazy, like having a messy house all the time, or my kids fighting and screaming or just having to be home all day with no adult interaction or having to fix our car and it costing a fortune. These things are small, but to me lately they have seemed big and out of control. That is until today, today I realized that these are not just small things these are tiny little things compared to what other people go through. Let me tell you a little about a boy that has touched my heart. I don't know him personally and I have never met him or his family, but my heart goes out to them. My nephew Kaden has a really good friend named Spencer. Last month Spencer was diagnosed with cancer. Kaden is always doing stuff to make his good friend feel better and it is so sweet. Spencer has touched my heart more than he will ever know. He makes me realize that I should not worry about the small stuff. What him and his family are going through makes my heart ache!!! I could not imagine having a child with cancer. You can read about his story on his blog http://www.mysuperspence.blogspot.com/ Make sure you have a box of tissues when reading!!! Like I said I don't know him but he will always be in my prayers!!! What a strong little boy and what a crappy thing to go through!!!! As you can see that I am not the best with words, but this little boy could use all the prayers he can get and I felt I needed to pass his story along!!! Pray for Spencer!!!
