Bows and more bows!!

While watching the Olympics the kids were playing and brushing our hair!! Don't worry Maelie had to pull out all the bows. It then became a bow fest!! Even the dog got in on the action!! It is so nice to just hang out and be together even if we do look a little dorky!!

Sweet's Candy Factory!!

My neighbor Miranda and I took the kids to the Sweets Candy factory on a tour!! The kids thought it was awesome. They learned a lot and got to have a lot of samples!! At the end they have the candy store so I let them choose different kinds of taffy to take home. We came home with all sorts of weird taffy that I didn't even knew existed!! Of course I came home with peanut clusters and cinnamon bears!! Bad move on my part since I can't eat just one. But it was fun and we can't wait to go back!!

She is walking!!!

So while at Bear Lake Jentry decided to take a few steps!! Uncle Scott Bribed her with candy and she has a sweet tooth and decided it was FINALLY time!! She is only 16 months come on already!!! Then Ashlyn and Rachel decided to work with her more and more until she was all candied out!! She still prefers Crawling over walking, but everyday she walks more and more!! She loves it when Parker or Maelie will hold her hand and walk around the house and she loves pushing maelie's doll stroller around the house. She just doesn't love to do it all by herself!! But she is finally getting the hang of it!! So proud of that little girl!!

Our 2012 Bear Lake Trip!!

We went on our annual Bear Lake Trip with my family!!! Let me tell you, it never disappoints!! We had a blast!! We spent everyday at the beach, swimming at the pool, golfing, playing games, eating, etc... The kids love being with their cousins!! Everyone was so good and got a long so well! One evening we all went to the pickleville play house in Bear Lake to watch a hilarious play called Juanito Bandito!! The kids and Adults loved it!!! If you are ever in Bear Lake I highly recommend it!! We also got a Wave runner and a Paddle board one of the days!! It was so much fun. It was my first time paddle boarding and I loved it!! It made me want to get one, but I don't go to the lake enough to justify it!! Even the kids loved doing it! The kids loved playing in the sand, Bryan loved burying the kids and the last day we were there we had planned on going to the beach for a couple of hours. Well the people sitting next to us had a big shovel and taught the kids to build a huge sand castle and the spent hours building that so we spent the whole day watching them. And since were were going to be there the rest of the day Janan, Scott, Bryan, Britton, Ashlyn and i did our annual swim to the buoy!! I almost didn't get it in, but decided to bite the bullet and do it with the rest. The lake has such high and low parts Bryan and Scott could almost touch at the buoy!! But it was fun!!! I love this vacation!! I feel like it is such a relaxing weeks. We have no schedule and just hang out at the beach all day and enjoy each other!!! My kids are already looking forward to next year!!!

We love Swimming!!

This summer we have done a lot of swimming. The kids love to swim and Parker is getting so good without floaties!! I am so proud of him. Maelie is our little dare devil and if there is a diving board or slide she is on it!! And Jentry hates the water so she just chills on the side with mom!! To our surprise last week we went to aunt Squirt and Uncle Bryant's Condo to swim and Jentry got a little jealous of little Juliet in the pool so she wanted in and didn't even throw a fit!! Hopefully that is a break through!!!

My little Diva!!

Maelie is my little Diva!! She is so into clothes, hair, accessories, shoes etc. She is constantly flipping her hair when she is talking to you!! She tells me everyday how she wants her hair done and what she wants to wear! She cracks me up. She is 4 going on 16!!! She is very motherly and is always making sure everyone is in their place!! She is so loving and tells me 20 times a day how much she loves me or says I am the best mom in the whole wide world!! We love our little Maelie!!

My little Golfer!!

For his birthday Parker go a new set of clubs. Since his birthday is in November he hadn't been able to use them until recently. He has been excited to use them. He was practicing chipping in Grandpa's backyard with his dad and grandpa!! He can't wait until he is old enough to go golfing on a course!!! This will be an activity where he and his dad can bond together!!! Love it!

Parker is such a great kid, he has such a tender heart and is always looking out for the well being of others!! I am so lucky and proud to call him my son!!

She loves her some floaties!!!

Jentry loves to wear floaties around the house!!! It is so funny to watch her try and crawl with them on. She actually gets mad if we take them off. That is why in one picture she is in the car seat with them on!! It is so funny!! This little girl cracks me up!! She knows what she wants for sure and can scream so dang loud if she doesn't get it her way!! She sure keeps us on our toes!!!

Crazy Socks!!

So our pediatrician retired on July 21st.  He was my pediatrician as well!!We decided to take him a little gift to let him know how much we appreciated him. The one thing my kids think of when they think of Dr. Harris are his crazy socks!! He always has fun socks on. I don't think he wears normal ones!!! So we took him 3 pairs of Crazy socks, the book fox in socks and some candy!! In the book we wrote a letter and put a picture of my kids wearing Crazy socks!! I loved the picture and wanted to share it!! We will miss Dr Harris and his socks, and we won't ever forget his birdie noises he makes when looking in the kids ears!!!
