After spending time in Up State New York Bryan and I boarded another air plane and headed to New York City! Figuring out the air shuttle and the subway system at first was really frustrating, but within a day we were pros and rode the subway everywhere!! We stayed in a beautiful hotel Called the Marriott Essex house. It was right across the street from Central park and we had a beautiful view from our window of Central Park. Here are a list of things we did while in the city,
Time Square
We saw Wicked and loved every minute of it. After Wicked we went to the Stardust Diner where our waiter was a guy that did plays here in utah and Bryan recognized him from the play the Nerd!
We saw Newsies another great play and I recommend it
We went to Ground Zero, World Trade center. Such a neat place
Saw the Statue of Liberty, another neat place to visit
Went to the Empire State Building
Went to the Manhattan Temple
I wandered around Central Park, while Bryan ran 7 miles around it(his only 7 miles he ran before his Marathon. I will write about that later)
Went to the Natural History Museum
Did a lot of Shopping
Went to Wal Street
Ate a lot of food at all different types of places
Brooklyn Bridge
Rockefeller plaza
Went to the Yankees game
We did a lot of people watching. There are some interesting people in this world!!
Went to the biggest Macy's, Toys R Us and American girl doll store. I don't know how people take their girls into that store without spending a ton. It is a good thing I didn't have them with me.
We had a lot of fun and saw a lot of neat stuff!! I loved spending one on one time with Bryan. He is truly my best friend and I enjoy every minute I am with him!! The BEST Husband EVER!! He also gave me two other pieces of my ring one for Maelie and one for Jentry with a video message from them too. Made me cry every time! Best trip with the best husband. Get ready for picture overload!!
