Maelie's First Dance Recital!!!

Maelie had her first dance recital this past week. They have so many dancers that they get to do it two nights in a row!!! She LOVED it!! She was so excited and couldn't wait to get on stage with her friends. Let me tell you that little girl melted my heart!!! She did such a good job and knew the dance so well!!! I was so proud of her!!!  I think we found her passion in life. She now dances everywhere she goes and she loves to show people her dance. She has the Best Dance teacher and teachers assistant, Miss Sara and Miss Lexi!! The only stressful thing about the whole Dance recital was putting on her lip stick. It literally took me 30 minutes to get it right. She has such small lips she looked like a clown every time I would put it on. By night 2 I had it mastered and it took me a few second to apply the lipstick. Who knew that would be my biggest stress.  Maelie can't wait until January when she starts up again!!! Love this girl and love watching her get her groove on!!

Parker's Kindergarten Christmas Program

Parker had his Christmas program for kindergarten and it was so fun. I went to this elementary school and the funny thing is they sang almost all the same songs I did when I was in kindergarten. That made it so much more fun. He was so cute and did such a good job I could hear him loud and clear. I love watching my kids perform, It makes me so proud!!! He had all the songs down and even learned to sing a few in a different language. I love this boy!! I can't believe how time flies by next thing I know he will be graduating for High School!! But for now I will cherish the fun memories I have with him daily!!!

Parker Turns 6

My sweet boy is now 6. I can't believe that is has been 6 years since he came into the world as our miracle baby!! He is such a sweet and smart boy and I am grateful everyday that he is mine!!! This year was his friend birthday party year and boy was he excited!!! He chose to do a sports theme. We had a bunch of cousins and friends over and played football games, hockey games, golf games etc... It was a success and he had a Great day!!! Some of his favorite things at this age are:

Disneyland!!!

Bryan and I along with his parents had the wonderful opportunity to take the kids to Disneyland. The last time we had gone was when Maelie was 6 months old, so I was overly excited!! We decided that it would be easier to fly.

The kids did really well and according to Parker it is way better than driving. Everything did go really smooth and it isn't to bad flying with a baby!!! We got to California Wed night and the kids were so excited it was hard to get them to go to bed. Well the next morning we were up bright and early so we could get breakfast and head over to Disneyland. We choose to do California adventure first since we wanted to get tickets to World of Color!!! The very first ride we went on Was Woody's round up!!! We love love love that ride and it usually has the longest line, but we were one of the first and it only took us a few minutes to get on. In fact all the rides we went on Thursday only took us a few minutes. The parks weren't busy at all that day!!! We took Parker on Tower or Terror for his fist time too. I wish I had a video camera of his and Bryan's faces as we were going up and down. It was priceless. Needless to say neither of them like that ride to much. I loved it!! The new little mermaid ride was really cool too. We went on almost every ride that the kids could go on and we ended the night with World of Color!!! If you are in California Adventure at night you have to stop and see World of Color.  

The next day we spent all day in Disneyland!!! It was so much fun. We rode ride after ride again, it was a little more crowded but not to much. In fact our whole time there the longest we had to wait in line was about 30 minutes!!! We couldn't complain about that!!! We rode Parker's and my favorite ride Splash Mountain a lot!!! We love that ride. So Maelie and Jentry got to ride Winnie the pooh a lot too (since it is right by Splash). We rode Space mountain, Matterhorn, Big Thunder Railroad, really we rode every ride in the park!!! We Also spent time looking for Characters and waiting in line for the princesses. Well on Saturday Bryan went to the Park at 7 to make sure we were first in line to see the princesses. Well needless to say he was the first and only in line for 1 1/2 hours. Poor dude. But she was escorted by Ariel and got to have one on one time with her and Princess Tiana. We were a little disappointed because there was supposed to be one more but she didn't make it. I don't think it was quit worth waiting 1 1/2 hours in line for though. Then he being the good sport he is went and stood in line to see Rapunzel. He waited for about an hour and then when it was time for Maelie to go in she threw a fit. She did not like that Flynn Ryder was in there too. It was so dramatic. So needless to say that was the end of our princess hunting and we spent the rest of the time enjoying the rides!!

 Yes we know where the trunk is and we couldn't stop laughing. He didn't get the joke!!!

Maelie Freaking out because of Flynn Ryder!!!

We had a blast with Grandma and Grandpa Jorgensen!!! They are so much fun to go with because they love Disneyland just as much as we do!!! It was nice because we stayed at a hotel across the street so it took us only a few minutes to get there and we had nice convenient Mc Donald's to eat breakfast at everyday!!! I know I left out a lot and if I think of any other things to add I will later. Just wanted to get our Disneyland trip up!!! It is the happiest place on earth!!! We love it and can't wait to go back!!!
