This year we decided to take our own family pictures!! Well the first set didn't turn out to well. The weather was horrible and for some reason my camera was taking blurry pictures. I am no professional by any means but I do have a nice camera that takes good pictures if I could just learn to us it!!! So our first set didn't turn out. We chose another day to take them and they turned out so much better, This time I had Bryan take them so I wasn't so frustrated and I think he did a pretty good job for his first time!!! Like I said we are not professional but I think they turned out good for what we need them for. Enjoy.
My friend Jenni invited us to go to Trafalga with her family. We had such a good time. The kids loved it!!! The night we went was not busy at all!! We got to play laser tag a couple times without waiting, play mini golf, ride the airplanes, ride the carousel, ride the frog ride, Parker rock climbed and raced the cars with dad!!! It was a ton of fun and the kids enjoyed it, and so did I. Bryan and I didn't want to leave. It was a blast and I can't wait to go back!!!
This years Halloween was so much fun!! I ended up getting all the kids skeleton Jammies that match and that glow in the dark. They thought that was really cool. This year Parker was a knight, Maelie wanted to be a princess (surprise surprise!!!) and Jentry was also a princess. The Halloween season started off with Maelie having a dance Halloween party. She was so excited and couldn't wait to dance in her Halloween costume. We then had Parker's Kindergarten class Halloween Party. I got to go help with his class and it was a lot of fun. The kids got to decorate cookies, Play pin the face on the pumpkin and do a mummy wrap. They got a lot of treats and had a good time. I was a bad mom and forgot the camera so I don't have any pictures of his party!! Then Maelie had her Halloween Parade. Her little preschool puts on the cutest production for the kids to show off their costumes. They came out one by one to show us the costumes then they sang us some songs and then did a parade with a little dance to the monster mash!!! It was so fun and their teachers put so much work and effort into making them feel special!! On Halloween we ran around all day. Parker had school (They did there Halloween party on the short day the week before) after school we went to my moms work. She wanted the kids to see her cool costume. She made a Jack Sparrow costume and she looked Awesome!!! Most people didn't even know it was her until she would talk!!! She Is awesome. She also made Maelie and Parkers costumes!! We then headed over to dads work to trick or treat, they got so much candy we could have stopped there and would have been just fine, but we headed to my Sisters to do some more trick or treating. We first stopped to see my grandma, who loves to see all the kids in their costumes, and then headed to my sisters to have a neighborhood dinner and then on to the big trick or treating. The kids loved it and the weather was so nice that we went for a really long time this year!!! Overall 2011 Halloween was a ton of fun!!
