Happy 4th Birthday Maelie!!

My little Maelie had her 4th birthday on May 8th. She had dress rehearsal for dance so we didn't really get to do anything on her actual birthday, But on Saturday She had her friends and Cousins over for a Hello Kitty Birthday party. She put the list of people she wanted to come over and was all set for her party!!! Of Course Aunt squirt (Elisha) made the Awesome cake!! She loved it!! We played pin the bow on Hello Kitty, Hello Kitty musical Chairs, Toss the kitty game and did some crafts. She had a blast and loved having friends and cousins over. She kept saying I get to pick or go first etc.. I am the birthday girl!!! She cracks me up!!! At Four here are a few of her favorites

Maelie's Dance Recital!!

This past week Maelie had her dance recital!! She did such a good job!! Her dance was to shake your tail feathers from Chicken little. She had the cutest little costume and boy did she shake it!! She loved putting make up on and would keep asking me if it was still on and if she looked beautiful!! She is so funny!! She is such a good little dancer and loves it so much. She will miss having Miss Sara and Miss Lexi for her teachers. She loved loved loved them. But she loves dance and can't wait for it to start again!!! I am so proud of my little chicken!!

And I broke it!!!

A few weeks ago I was taking the kids to school. I was helping the neighbor boy get out of the car when he tripped over his feet and started falling head first out of the car!! I hurray and grabbed the hood of his sweat shirt to break his fall a little. Well my pinky finger got caught in the hood as he was falling to the ground. My pinky finger snapped!!! I hurt soooooo bad that I started to pass out!! My dad had the day off so he came and sat with my other kids while I ran them to school. I was only gone 10 minutes. I walked in the door and my dad was like "What is the matter with you." I said I think my finger is broken. He looked at it and was like yeah you better get that checked out!! I went and got an x-ray and sure enough it had snapped in half. It was a clean break so no surgery!!! But man it hurts like crazy!!! I have to wear a splint 6-8 weeks. For my first broken bone I wish I had a way more fun and exciting story, but don't ever underestimate how hard it is to take kids to school!!!

Easter

We had a really good Easter. The kids once again got spoiled!! The Easter Bunny brought way to much candy and way to many toys, but the kids were in Heaven!! Both grandmas spoiled them with lots of toys, Candy and money!! We Dyed Easter eggs, had Easter egg hunts and the best thing of all we attended our church meetings where we felt the spirit and remembered the reason we celebrate Easter!! It was and awesome day being with family!!!
