Maelie's First Day of Kindergarten

Where has time gone? My little girl started Kindergarten Yesterday!! She had been waiting impatiently for a week now. She was not scared at all and didn't really even need me there. I already miss having her gone, but little sis Jentry misses her even more! It was such a bitter sweet day for me. I shed a few tears, especially when they walked in the school and whole student body was there to welcome them by clapping as they walked through them all. Maelie spotted Parker and was so excited! What a great Idea. I am truly thankful and feel really blessed that we get to send our kids to such an awesome school! She came home from school so happy and ready to go back. I love that little moo moo of mine she is my little sweet heart and is always wanting to help me and play with me. Why do they have to grow up??

These is when the kids welcomed the kindergarten kids!!

Back to School for Parker

Well I have all summer to catch up on and Bryan and I trips to New York, but for now I am going to start with what is going on now! Parker started 2nd grade yesterday. Where does time go? He really is growing up so fast and he is already a responsible child. In fact yesterday he told me I need to keep the house clean, and go through shoes and toys.  I told him he didn't need to worry about things like that, that I am the mom and those are mom things to worry about. He cracks me up but worries me at the same time because I don't want him to become a worry wart like me. So I am trying really hard to not show my worries anymore so it doesn't rub off on him!!! But anyway, Parker started at a new school this year. It is Neil Armstrong Academy also known as a STEM school (science, technology, engineering and mathematics ). It is a new school in the school district and it is going to be so good for him and Maelie (who starts next week and will get her own blog too). They get to do so many fun things and work with I pads daily and work in labs etc... It will be so fun and good for them! He loves it already and can't wait to see what is in store for the rest of the year. He also has a great Teacher by the name of Mrs. Dorval.  He is such a great student and I am always proud of him and his accomplishments!! Here is my stylish dude the first day of Second grade!!
