Happy Halloween

My kids didn't have school on Halloween so the day before they did their parade and party at school. I had the opportunity to help in both classes and it was a blast. I love that their Elementary school does a parade. Parker got a lot of good ideas for next year. That night we also carved our pumpkins. The kids enjoy doing this every year. Me not so much. I hat the feeling of pumpkin guts. But Bryan is a good sport and works on the pumpkins with the kids.

On Halloween it was nice to get up and take our time to get ready. We went to Grandma Jeri's School to watch their Halloween parade and then on to trick or treat at dads work. We also went down to my sister again. This year my brother and his family joined us as well. My sister in law loves Halloween so we all dressed up this year. Sorry to say I didn't get a picture of the big group because we were in a hurry, but it was fun to all dress up. This year Parker was a rock start, Maelie was a witch, Jentry was a witch, Bryan was Willy from Duck Dynasty, and I was Dorothy from the Wizard of OZ. It was such a nice night. It was so warm we didn't even need jackets! I love Halloweens like that! I love halloween. I love candy and I love to see all the kids dressed up!! Another Successful Halloween in the books!!

Walk to School day and School Carnival

Once again we had another successful walk to school day. We live far away from the school as do most students so we met at a designated place to all walk together.  Bryan was the Eagle again and it was a much better experience. It is so fun to see how excited the kids get when they see their school mascot! I love this school we are at. We have so much participation in all the we do, and this activity did not disappoint. And our kids love knowing who the secret mascot really is...

The kids also had a school Carnival. They had a blast! They loved watching Mr. Howe get dunked in the dunk tank. The only downfall of this night, was that it was pretty darn cold. The kids had a good time and they sure do love everything about their school!

A few first for Jentry

This week has been eventful for Jentry. She had her very first Dance class and she had her first day of pre school. She has my friend Sarah for dance and she loves it. This girl dances all around the house all the time. She has even learned how to turn on the music from the computer. She loves to dance. I am excited to watch her.

My baby started pre school. She is my last so it is a bitter sweet feeling. It was nice having a few hours to myself, but it was really quiet. She loved it and it looking forward to her next class. She has the best teachers. Ms. Sandra and Mrs, Thompson. Such great ladies. I know that Jentry is in good hands!!

1st Day of School

Parker and Maelie Started School today at Neil Armstrong Academy. Parker is in 3rd grade and has Mrs, Farnsworth for his teacher. His really good friend Zachary is also in his class. Maelie started 1st grade and has Miss, Johansen as her teacher. I can't believe that she is going to be in school all day this year. Kind of sad for me, but especially for Jentry. Jentry has already asked when we are going to go get Maelie and it is only 11. They were both really excited and a bit nervous! They will do great!! I love these two more than words can say!!

Oh and don't worry Miranda and I wore matching first day of school outfit too!!
