Grandma's funeral in Texas.

My, Dad, Mom, Sister, Brother, Aunt, Uncle and a few cousins flew to Texas to bury my Grandma.  We had a nice time. It had been a long time that all of us traveled together and it was nice to be able to spend a few days together. Because there was a little bit of down time we went to the movies, ate a lot of fried food, shopped, visited cemeteries, visited my Grandma and Grandpa's old house and property, and ate more food!
The viewing was really nice. We had a lot of people come and it was nice to see people we hadn't seen in a long time and may never see again. The next morning we had a graveside funeral for her. Texas was having a cold spell and boy was it freezing at the grave. But my dad and Aunt Barbra gave excellent talks and it was a really nice service. After the service we met at the church for a family lunch. Let me tell you Texas funeral luncheons are a lot different than Utah funeral luncheons. They have a whole bunch of different food. Bbq, salads, fried chicken, enchiladas, hamburger casseroles, cole slaw pies, etc... It was so good. Such a great ward my Grandma lived in.

Look at this high school football field! They take their football serious in Texas!

On our way to the Airport to go home we had a few hours to spare, so we decided to go see the Dallas Cowboys stadium!! It was the biggest and coolest stadium I have ever seen. We got to take pictures play football on the field for a little see the locker rooms and just hang out for a few hours. It was a good time.
