Easter weekend!!

We had a wonderful Easter. It was so relaxing to just be home and to watch conference. Parker and Maelie were spoiled!!! They first had an Easter egg and present hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Jorgensen's on Saturday morning!!! They first fed us all the BEST breakfast and then it was time for the kids to do the hunt!! They got all sorts of candy and books and the cutest clothes ever!!! They loved it and Parker couldn't wait to go and find his presents!!!

Parker was so excited and talked about the Easter bunny so much that I thought it was time to teach him about the real meaning of Easter. So I talked to him and told him that Easter was about Jesus being resurrected, and I explained to him what that meant and then I told him to tell me what it was about and he explained it back to me just the way I told him. Well that night at dinner I told him to tell Bryan what Easter was about. Here is the conversation.
Me: Tell Dad what Easter is about
Parker: It is when Jesus was.... thinking
Me: Come on you know
Parker: It is when Jesus was Pregnant!!

Bryan and I were laughing so hard, so needless to say we gave him the lesson all over again. I think the only big word he knew that was close to resurrection was pregnant. What a funny kid.

Then Sunday we had Easter over at my Parents with my Brother and Sister and there families and then my Aunt Annette and Uncle John and my Cousin Mike and his wife Bailey and there kids!!! It was so much fun. We had a wonderful lunch and a the kids did a pinata and had an egg hunt. Parker found the golden egg this year with a $5 dollar bill!!! It was a lot of fun. I forgot my camera so I didn't get pictures so I stole this one off Bailey's blog!!!

This boy loves to Swim!!!

We put Parker into swim lessons and he loved it!!! He did such a great job!!! Everyday he looked forward to going to his class and playing in the water in fact we had to be there early because he just couldn't handle waiting and longer. This boy is not afraid of water at all!!! He loved to jump off the side into the deep end and watching that made me grateful we had him in a swim class!!! He was so good and I was so proud of him. We had to take a break so he could take a Soccer and T-ball class, but as soon as they are over we are back to the swim lessons!!!
