Maelie and Bryan's Dance recital!

Maelie had her dance recital and the neat thing about this one, is that she got to perform with her dad. They did the cutest daddy daughter dance to burning love. Her awesome teacher Shannon did such a great job teaching these girls and their uncoordinated dads this dance!! Bryan and Maelie worked so hard and they rocked the stage. I am so very proud of them. This years Dance Recitals theme was smawesome. Maelies little dance friend Lilly was diagnosed with leukemia and it was dedicated to her. She has a word of the day to help her get through each day and the day our Dance instructor went to visit that was the word. So as a dance studio they decided to make it a fundraiser to help lilly and her family! It was so neat and lilly even go to come to the beginning of each recital and tell us all the rules. They also showed an awesome video of her and her journey. Such a sweet little girl and an SMAWESOME recital!!

Parkers 2nd grade field trip.

I got to go with Parker on his 2nd grade field trip. We went to This is the Place Park. Parker loved it. We had a good bus ride up. Parker and I looked for all the old houses that we thought were really cool. He has a good eye. We got to do Pioneer chores, see all the animals and see how yarn is made. He wants to go back over summer break to try all the other things they have to do. I love being a stay at home mom so I can go on these things with my kids. I love spending time with Parker and I could tell he was proud that I was with him.

Maelie's 6th Birthday!!

My little Maelie Moo turned 6. Where in the world did time go? She is such a sweet little girl and loves to help around the house. She is really laid back like her daddy and she just goes with the flow. She is such a joy to have in our family. This year she had a friend party and she chose to go to build a bear. I told her she could only invite a few friends to go with us. It was so much fun and the kids loved it! And not to mention it was an easy birthday party to prepare. No work at all!! Elaine S Dalton

A few weeks ago our Elaine S Dalton came to our Stake and spoke to our relief society sisters. It was such a neat meeting. She talked about how we are all special in our own way and we are all sisters of our Heavenly Father. It was such a great and spiritual meeting.  She was so inspired that I even heard that she felt a prompting from the Lord to talk to very specific women and girls after the meeting. I only hope to be as close to the Lord one day as she is!! I was so happy I got to attend it with my mom. It was a great way to start off a weekend!!
