Busy weekend, finished product and Easter!!!

We had a really busy weekend. We are getting a new fence, because ours is falling over. But before we can get a new fence we have to put in a new retaining wall. The wall we had in was a bunch of rail road ties and they were rotting out. So Bryan and our neighbor Lee spent all day Friday and Saturday removing these rail road ties. This was not an easy job. The people who lived here before put in the ties and thought that every tie needed like 4-5 re bar going through them. This made it very difficult to take the ties out. Let me just say that is was a bigger project than we thought and poor Bryan and Lee were very very sore the next couple of days. Here are a few pictures of our project.

We also finished the Babies nursery. It turned out so cute and I love it. It makes me more and more excited for the baby to come. Bryan and my mom did an excellent job. My mom did a lot of work to add green into the quilt, bumper pads, wall hangings, and baskets. I just love it. Here are a few pictures of Maelie's room.
We also had an awesome Easter. Parker had the time of his life. He got spoiled big time. On Friday his Grandma and Grandpa Jorgensen took him to a neighborhood Easter Party. He loved it. He colored eggs and had an egg hunt. After that he just kept asking to find Easter eggs. Then on Saturday we had an Easter Dinner at the Jorgensen's. Parker got spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa and had a huge Easter egg hunt with lots of prizes. He was in heaven and had to sleep with most of his loot that night. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Jorgensen for the fun Day. Here are some pictures of him looking for his Easter prizes.

Then on Sunday we woke up and the Easter Bunny had come and brought Parker some cool Dinosaur things he was so excited he also got the Bee movie and 101 Dalmatians. He loved it and once again he had to sleep with all of his dinosaurs and he also had to take a shower with them. Here are a few pictures of him on Sunday morning.

We then went to church, and it was an awesome meeting. I am so thankful for our Savior Jesus Christ and all that he did and does for each and everyone of us. I am so thankful for the Easter Season and for the opportunity to reflect on the atonement and Resurrection. After Church we headed over to my parents house for a wonderful Easter Dinner. It was awesome. They then did an Easter egg hunt for all the kids. They loved it and once again Parker was in heaven and made a haul. But sadly I forgot my camera so I don't have any pictures of him at my moms house. But here is Parker right before church in his cute little Easter outfit. Don't worry that he chose the spot to have his picture taken. It was cute. Well we hope you had a wonderful Easter.

I absolutely LOVE your little girl's room. She is going to be one lucky baby. Your mom did a great job like she always does. It makes me want a girl even more. But my chances probably aren't that good but Joshua did tell me that it is a baby girl in my tummy, so we will see!

whit i can't stand how cute you are able to make things...i'm a little jealous of you and your mom and your talents. you are going to have so much fun with a little girl. by the way...did you get rid of all the rail road posts yet?

the cuteness of my blog is all because of my sister, kaydee. i don't know how she did it but someone she works with helped her. it's not quite done yet but still cute. i know this is probably weird to ask but can we maybe have some of your railroad ties or come look at them one night? derick wants to try something in our backyard with them. just let me know. thanks whit.
