Easter 2011

We had a wonderful Easter. We started it off with seeing  what  the magic beans they planted night before had grown. They grew reeces  pieces in the shape of a carrot. They thought that was so cool.  We then headed in to see what the Easter Bunny had left them.The Easter bunny spoiled them rotten. They got a ton of candy, sing a ma jigs, movies, pillow pet and a lot of other stuff. The Easter bunny also hid eggs, and in Parker's words they weren't hidden very well. Funny kid. The kids loved it. Before we got ready for church we talked to the kids about the true meaning of Easter so the understand the real reason we have Easter. We then got them ready in there cute Easter outfits for church (don't worry that Jentry's dress is a dolls dress that came with Maelie's, can you believe she is small enough for a dolls dress?) and headed to church. After Church we headed to my parents house to have an Easter egg hunt where they got a ton more candy (which their mom eats so it is not so good) some money, stuffed animals and a present.  The kids had a blast doing a Easter egg hunt with there cousins. After that we headed over to Bryan's families house for dinner and another Easter egg hunt where they got even more candy and a ton of prizes like bubbles, outfits, books, chap-stick, kites, etc.... The made a haul and had a wonderful day!!!! I love seeing my kids so happy and having such a good time.
